Imagine seven days of non-stop activities from morning till night. Imagine insanely mind-blowing games that are like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Imagine a week of sparkle and sweat, glamour and games, and you will have come close to an idea of what THOC will present.
THOC is made up of a bunch of dedicated Temasekians who have decided to spend their holidays planning an experience that will redefine the freshmen’s understanding of orientation. As a team, we work through mornings and nights to complete all the planning, building, buying and practising in preparation for the final week. The common goal of running a great orientation keeps all of us working throughout the holidays.

ut look beyond the work and you will see that there is something else that binds us together. THOC exists not just for the freshmen; it exists because we are in this for each other. It is about us enjoying each other’s company and enjoying the crazy experience of working with each other for a crazy event. It is about working till we are tired and still working, because work is not tiring when it is done with friends.

Temasek Hall is the pre-eminent hall of the National University of Singapore.
